Every night when I call you, don't expect me to be sane. And stop working on your role. God, be yourself for just one day. And stop listening to you heart, because it's the worst one to follow. Start listening to your head, because it's the best one to fall for. Two people with just one heart, tore another one apart, and I fuck all your regrets, because there is nothing we had. So if you say, that it's not real, you should've noticed what I feel. And I know it didn't mean that much, but I don't want to stay in touch, because you all fucked it up. A friend called me that night, he said: "Boy, we have to talk." and he told me all the facts, as I broke down in the park. And I stopped listening to my heart, because it's the worst one to follow. I stopped looking at my face, because I don't have it anymore. Two people with just one heart, tore another one apart, and I fuck all your regrets, because there is nothing we had. So if you say, that it's not real, you should've noticed what I feel. And I know it didn't mean that much, but I don't want to stay in touch, because you slut fucked it up.
Track Name: I Remember Paris
Convince me of the feeling that I am a part of all the possible things you love. Explain me all the words I have to say, just to have you here being well. The devil wants to trick you for all your life, you just have to try to do things right. I am just as weak, as anyone, a headless man on a hunt. Don't you feel bad for what you are. Life is not fair at any time. I am walking through a forest made out of concrete, maybe there's some life living underneath, but it is way to cold to stroll through the streets, snow is the only thing that's joining me. In life there's horror you have to resist, because there is just a lifetime you exist, together we shared not even one, now I have to keep getting things done. Don't you feel bad for what you are. Life is not fair at any time. Since you've been there I've been going with you, but you have lost your way.
Track Name: Harbor
We're sailing near the harbor, fearing possible mistakes, avoiding all the danger, because the ship will surely break. And when it's time to happen so we can savely swim to land, because all the beaches that we know let us sink into their sand. When we both lay down there, breathing heavily "we survived", thinking "Love is always unfair", but saying straight into your eyes: "How could anyone be as good and beautiful as you?" You know, I am not a seaman and you can't swim right, I am just the anchor and you are holding me so tight. But when the flood is gone, you won't need me for sure. Love is the answer, so i won't question anymore: "How could anyone be as good/beautiful as you?" I would cross all seven seas, if you were on the other side. I would go over water, swim against the tides, hoping that you will wait on the other side.
Track Name: A Traveller's Homesickness
Put on your travelling shoes and wear them till they're loose, until you touch the ground with one bare foot. Go over your horizon and see what's coming next, the truth might be hurtful, but what did you expect? You say it sounds pathetic, but sometimes that's the truth, but I I want to tell you something: this is just an excuse. You always say so, but you can't accept the things in the way that they went. You left behind all your lovers and your friends. One day you will get homesick and miss all of your past. You will try to remember, but no memory is vast. What happened to the people you called a family once? I don't think that they will know you or who you are. How sad you lost the contacts, to people that you loved, but I don't want to remember, what I have lost. And I always say so, but I can't Accept the things in the way that they went. And I just want to be your lover, not a friend. So have you found yourself? Because searching is hell.
Track Name: The Swing
I remember pictures of you sitting on a swing, where you read those news about the upcoming spring. You wore this long shirt that went underneath your knees. That you are likely like me that is what I believed. It was strange but I thought that you almost looked like home. So familiar to me although I never loved the unkown. I couldn't guess, it all would be a success. Because what you did, was to clean up the mess. I guess I found the needle in the hay, it was easy 'cause I just burned it away. I guess, that it was my mistake, because I'd never burn down anything else for your sake. Well, a lightyear measures distance, but no time. I feel you're hundred lightyears away, but I that is fine. And I couldn't guess, you and me was such a mess. Because after all we were no success. Since a year or two you havent been around. You're a stranger in our hometown. And the swing still swings, though other people conquered it. Someone that will likely even really fit it. For the future there's a lesson I have learned. Well, in life you don't really have to be concered. And I couldn't guess, we both would be such a mess. After all we were no success.
Track Name: Whole New Heart
People say that we are doomed, but I don't care if it's with you. Might end up in the wrong place, as long as I get to see your face and I suddenly conclude, they must apparently be deluded. My heart rhymes with you, it's an unisono beat. Maybe it'll get out of sync, but I don't think that we unlink and I suddenly conclude, that I will die without you. I don't really think your face might be just replaced by someone else. Your face distracts me still from my freedom of thought, don't know whether words I say are just dumb or wrong and I suddenly refuse to believe that I'm confused. Oh, it's not easy.
Track Name: Flowers
You are neither young, neither smart, nor a fool, but although it all you just seem so wunderful. And although your wish is there, you just never had a doubt that butterflies come out of cocoons. I'll bring you flowers, because you know that it is summer soon. And you know life is not fair, but when you have got someone to share you don't have to carry that weight on your own, because you are not alone, when you hold my hand, wherever we stand and that is alright, because you have got the rest of my life for all the time - and that is fine, because I know that your time is mine.
Track Name: Colors
All these colors in your faces are a composition, I would fall for anyone of you. I never thought I'd end up in New York this year, but now I am standing here. Good news happen all the time, they are just not being promoted. Good news happen all the time. They just are. And all the scars you wear make you look human being, so don't look at them with regret. Because all we leave on earth is just pure emotion, so at least don't let it be bad. Bad things happen all the time, just don't let yourself get haunted. Bad things happen all the time. They just are. Show me your color, your face is no shame.
